Purpose
Purpose is a little word with a lot of punch. At times I like to sit someplace where a lot of people are gathered and just watch. It’s pretty staggering to realize that every person walking by represents a separate life. Each individual has hopes, dreams, loved ones, homes and so on just like I do. And, yet, I know that many of them also have despair. They crave answers to the struggles that they endure but they can’t seem to find them. We’re told that the things we experience including existence itself are just chance. I disagree.
I believe that we were created…yes I said “created”…for a very specific reason. Even if we start from an intellectual or scientific perspective, it doesn’t seem reasonable in the least to assume that we got here by accident. In fact, most of us don’t believe that even if we say we do. We know in our hearts that there is meaning within and all around us.
Pinnacle isn’t a typical company. Sure, we exist to earn a fair profit by exceeding the needs of our clients. At the same time, we are dedicated to proclaiming that every human being lives here and now for the ultimate purpose of magnifying the character of the God of the universe, to declare who He is with every word that we speak and action that we conduct. We experience despair as we move further and further from this reality.
Every aspect of our company is built upon this premise. It is our calling to radiate this purpose to everyone we come into contact with.
This is a vague thought. It will be my goal to clarify these ideas over the next week or so.
